Fresh Start Northam is thrilled to announce that Professor Gary Hulse from UWA Medical School, will be attending our Northam residential facility on Monday, February 5th for a training session about addiction and substance use disorders for staff, residents and the wider community. Professor Hulse has worked collaboratively with Fresh Start for over 20 years. His position as Professor of Psychiatry has provided opportunities to teach about the effects of addiction and substance use disorders and how pharmacotherapy can play a role in a person’s recovery. Professor Gary Hulse This training day is a great opportunity for Fresh Start staff, residents and wider community members to learn about the process of recovery and how Fresh Start facilitates recovery in individuals along with how community can have an impact on a persons recovery.
