Who can stay?

If you are a client of Fresh Start Clinic you may enquire about staying at Fresh Start Lodge. If you would benefit from stable and safe accommodation, speak to your doctor, nurse or reception, and they can start the process of applying for Fresh Start Lodge. We can usually provide accommodation on the same day, but it is important to note that there is an interview process for patients wishing to use this service to ensure the safety of all our residents.

What is provided?

At Fresh Start Lodge we provide safe and supported short-stay residential accommodation. This includes:

• staff on-site at all times;
• three nourishing meals a day, that respect dietary needs—including allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, and cultural preferences.
• a private bedroom;
• a common room with tea and coffee facilities, TV and small library;
• entertainment such as TV, books, paper, pencils; and,
• laundry facilities.

How to apply?

Speak to your doctor, nurse or receptionist at the time of booking or at your appointment. If you do not have safe and stable accommodation, you may be able to apply to stay at Fresh Start Lodge. The manager of Fresh Start Lodge assesses applications.

Pre-intake to Fresh Start Northam

Fresh Start Lodge is also used as pre-intake accommodation for men wishing to enter into our 26-week recovery program at Fresh Start Northam. Prospective Fresh Start Northam residents complete an application form and are then assessed and interviewed by the Fresh Start Northam Manager to ensure they are suitable for the program.
