If you enjoy cooking this may be the volunteering role you have been looking for:
Position: Volunteer cook to prepare meals once a week for our lodgers on a Monday or a Tuesday. On average there would be between 8-15 lodgers. You are welcome to encourage a friend to volunteer with you.
Hours: 11am to 3pm on a Monday or a Tuesday.
Role Description: Prepare sandwiches/rolls for lunch which is served at midday. Then prepare and cook the evening meal ready for staff to serve between 5pm and 6pm.
We currently have a volunteer who cooks the Thursday evening meal and makes rolls for the Friday lunch. She is fantastic and is loving the role. She is the highlight of the week for both lodgers and staff!
Where: Fresh Start Lodge is situated in Subiaco.
