On Sunday, October15, 2023 Fresh Start was proud to participate in the 2023 Mission’s Expo hosted by Mount Pleasant Baptist Church . Our CEO Jeff Claughton took the opportunity to talk to community members about the great work we do at Fresh Start as a not-for-profit substance use disorder recovery programme and to grow our community of regular Fresh Start supporters. It was a great opportunity to engage with people who are keen to make a difference and to learn more about how Fresh Start is helping people to overcome substance use disorders. Our focus for the day was COMMUNITY: a unified group of individuals that live and grow together, which is an essential element of recovery. We are grateful to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church’s on-going support of community programs that aim to create a safer and happier future for all. Together, we can make a difference.
